We would like to thank the Busselton community for your love, passion and ongoing support! So to celebrate our recent Western Australian Tourism Award wins we are offering FREE entry into the Underwater Observatory!
15-minute self-guided Mini Tours will be available for Local’s (City of Busselton residents) between Sunday 24th and Saturday 30th November commencing at 9.10am every hour until 4.10pm.
It might be the first time you’ve been to the Underwater Observatory or it may be the first time in a long while since you’ve wandered the Jetty. Either way, we know you’ll enjoy the free sneak peak of the Underwater Observatory.
Stroll the 1.7 kilometre length of the Jetty, spotting marine life along the way. Meet your guide at 5 minutes past the hour and descend to the sea floor. You’ll have 15 minutes to view some of the 300 different marine species living in the Marine Sanctuary that surrounds the Observatory. When the tour concludes, wander back to shore in your own time.
Bookings essential – please book online, by phone (9754 0900) or in person at the Interpretive Centre. ID (that shows you live in the City of Busselton) is required at time of ticket collection.
Please arrive no later than half past the hour prior to your booked Mini Tour time. You will need at least 25 minutes to walk the length of the Jetty.
Please note – mini tours do not include a train ride, you walk to the Observatory. You may be able to book a one-way train ride back to shore at the Underwater Observatory after your tour if there are available seats. You will not be able to book a train out to your tour as the timings do not match up.
We can’t wait to welcome you – enjoy!
