Trade & Affiliate Rates contract

  • UNDERWATER OBSERVATORY TOUR (1 hour, 45 minute experience)

  • Includes Train ride out, 40-minute Guided Tour of the Underwater Observatory, Train ride back and Jetty Day Pass.
  • Tours depart from the Interpretive Centre (blue buildings on shore end of the Jetty) on the hour.
  • Maximum capacity of 44 people per tour, capacity is reduced to 30 people during winter months.
  • Tours during winter months may include a Virtual Reality experience and weather conditions can impact viewing quality.
  • A lift is available for those with limited mobility.
  • RETURN TRAIN RIDE (45-minute experience)

  • 45-minute experience including a return train journey with 5-8 minutes free time to take photos and enjoy the view.
  • The train departs the Interpretive Centre (first blue buildings on the Jetty) on the hour.
  • Tickets are valid for one return trip at the booked time.
  • 46 return train seats available per departure time and can accommodate up to 5 wheelchairs per trip.
  • Features audio highlighting significant points on the journey and Jetty history.
  • TERMS OF TRADE

  • BOOKINGS & PAYMENT

  • 1. Bookings at the commissionable discounted rates outlined cannot be made until BJI receives a signed trade contract for 2023/2024.
  • 2. Once the signed contract is received, BJI will provide personalised login details for Fareharbor, our online booking system. This will enable you to make your bookings at any time. You must keep your personalised log in details confidential and only authorised staff are to use your Fareharbor account.
  • 3. All bookings must be made through Fareharbor.
  • 4. All bookings must include an Australian mobile number for either the tour guide or driver travelling with the group.
  • 5. You can make changes to your booking up to 48 hours before your tour departure time by contacting us directly either by email or phone. Modifications are not guaranteed, they are subject to availability. To discuss a booking within 48 hours of departure you must phone the booking office directly.
  • 6. All tours must be paid for in full at either the time of making the booking or the day prior to your tour date, by credit card.
  • 7. If you have not paid your booking in full the day prior to your tour, a Busselton Jetty staff member will phone you to confirm numbers and process payment. If payment is not received or is unable to be made, the booking will be cancelled.
  • 8. BJI reserves the right to change the ticket price with 7 days’ notice and the price increase will only apply to bookings not already paid for.
  • 9. A merchant fee may apply to your booking.
  • 10. A Public Holiday 10% surcharge applies to Underwater Observatory and Train Tickets.
  • 11. Contract Nett Rates will not apply during WA public and school holidays. Bookings can still be made through your Fareharbor logins, however gross retail rates will be applied during these block-out periods.
  • 12. Commission is not given on the $4 Jetty Walk/Day Pass, payment must be made prior to entry at the Interpretive Centre (first blue buildings on the Jetty). No booking is required for the Jetty Walk/Day Pass.
  • GENERAL CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

  • 13. Bookings cancelled by you more than 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund. Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the tour, will be charged 100% cancellation fees.
  • 14. BJI reserves the right to cancel any tour with or without notice as deemed necessary for the well-being and safety of its patrons and staff.
  • 15. Occasionally it may be necessary to make changes to tours or cancel tours for other reasons such as weather conditions and BJI reserves the right to do so at any time. You will be notified of any changes at the earliest possible opportunity.
  • 16. Where BJI changes or cancels a tour, you are able to reschedule your tour or request a refund.
  • AMENDMENTS TO PRODUCTS

  • 17. Prices and products, within this contract, are subject to change. Busselton Jetty reserves the right to:
  • a. Cancel or modify any tours and times within the product description;
  • b. Substitute different or equivalent value tours in place of the cancelled or modified product/tour selected;
  • c. Postpone, cancel or delay any aspect of the product if in the absolute discretion of Busselton Jetty, it is necessary to do so.
  • 18. In the event of any change, modification, cancellation, postponement or delay, you and the customer acknowledge that Busselton Jetty will have the ability to request a credit or refund but no right to claim compensation for any loss and or cost incurred by reason of the change, modification, cancellation, postponement or delay.
  • NO SHOWS

  • 19. Time changes for late arrival are not permissible. It is your responsibility to ensure that customers arrive at the Interpretive Centre (first blue buildings on the shore end of the Jetty) at the correct time. If you or your tour operator fails to arrive for the tour no refund will be given. Please encourage your customers to check their booking confirmation for the time they are required to arrive at the Interpretive Centre.
  • 20. Please be aware that the train departs for the Underwater Observatory exactly on the hour. We request that all groups arrive at the Interpretive Centre (first blue buildings on the shore end of the Jetty) at least 15 minutes prior to departure. Refunds will not be issued for missed tours. Please encourage your customers to check their booking confirmation for the time they are required to arrive at the Interpretive Centre.
  • WEATHER POLICY

  • 22. BJI reserves the right to cancel any tour with or without notice as deemed necessary due to adverse weather conditions. Where BJI is required to cancel a tour due to weather conditions, a change of tour time or a refund will be offered as required.
  • FAMILIARISATION

  • CHILDREN'S POLICY

  • 25. Children under the age of 3 years are free of charge (select infant at time of booking) but must be seated on an adult’s lap on the train. They do not get an allocated train seat to themselves.
  • 26. Due to space limitations prams and pushers are unable to be stored on board the train or in the Underwater Observatory. For a $10 deposit or a form of ID (both of which you get back when the lock comes back) you can secure your pram to the Jetty on the shore end for the duration of your trip using one of our bike locks, please advise our friendly bookings staff if this service is required.
  • 27. Children under the age of 15 years must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (18+) for the duration of the Jetty Train journey and the Underwater Observatory tour.
  • GENERAL INFORMATION

  • 28. Paper-based TRANSLATIONS for International visitors at the Underwater Observatory are available in Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish and Russian.
  • 29. For us to better assist you during your visit, please inform us of any special needs or requirements prior to arrival.
  • 30. If you require your wheelchair or walking frame during the Jetty Train Journey or Underwater Observatory Tour please select the Wheelchair option when booking.
  • 31. Only one (1) tour guide/representative per tour time is permitted on the tour for free.
  • 32. BJI will conduct checks to ensure the listed applicant is a licensed/registered business.
