Through the Busselton Jetty Environment Foundation, Busselton Jetty Inc. aims to protect and preserve the marine environment in the vicinity of the Busselton Jetty and the wider environs of Geographe Bay.
Since 1865 the Jetty’s submerged timber & steel piles have become colonised with a beautiful array of marine invertebrates, creating a vibrant and diverse habitat!
Find out about the weather and ocean conditions before you visit the Jetty via our Live Jetty webcam and weather widget.
Marine monitoring forms a large part of our marine conservation efforts here at the Jetty with several initiatives happening each year.
Busselton Jetty has been eco-certified with Ecotourism Australia for over 10 years, making us a Green Leader in 2020!
The Margaret River Region plays host to an estimated 35,000 whales migrating each season, including humpbacks, southern right and sometimes blue whales!
