Jetty History

A lot has happened at the Jetty since 1865…

European settlement in the Busselton region and the need for a Jetty or Port to cope with the demand for exports.

Cyclones, fires, storms & refurbishments – the Jetty stands as a monument to the spirit and dedication of the Busselton community.

The people who saved the Jetty on multiple occasions and the initiatives or activities they completed to do so.

Starting in 1851 and running until the present day, the Jetty Timeline details all major events over the last 150+ years.
