THE BUSSELTON JETTY SWIM
The Busselton Jetty Swim is a premier event on the WA sporting calendar and features a 3.6km ocean swim around the iconic Busselton Jetty.
Since 1996, the swim has grown in popularity from a local attraction with 82 participants to an internationally recognised event with more than 4000 people in participating in 2023, aged from 8 to 80 years old!
The event is open to everyone including novice, professional and swimmers with disabilities, with participants having the option to complete the course solo or in teams of two or four. There is also the option to do the one mile course starting at the end of the Jetty and finishing on the shore.
The 2024 Busselton Jetty Swim will be held over the 10th & 11th of February with ballot entries opening from 1st to 9th of October.
The full weekend program also includes two days of swimming events with a distance for every age and ability including:
- Solo, Two Person & Four Person Team Swims.
- The One Mile Swim to Shore (starting at the end of the Jetty).
- Simon’s 500m Short-Cut Swim under the Jetty.
- Busselton Jetty Kids 222m Swim and family events.
For those who prefer to stay dry, there’s plenty of entertainment, activities and fun for the whole family, including the family friendly FREE Busselton Jetty Swim Sunset Concert on Saturday 10 February 2024.
